Teenwolf & Static - Nowstalgic (2016)
The self-titled team of Teenwolf & Static hail
from the Wet (West) Coast of British Columbia, Canada. Their debut album,
Nowstalgic, is a compilation of experiences wrapped up in 11-tracks that
largely draws its influence from the quintessential era/sound of hip-hop, the
90s. Teenwolf & Statics commitment to their particular sound can be heard
in their use of minimal vocal effects, language and flow, and strict adherence
to only sampling from records. With these ingredients paired with the expertise
of Rob the Vikings (Swollen Members) recording and mixing techniques, the team
of Teenwolf & Static have crafted a unique sound sparsely heard in Hip-Hop
from the West Coast.
