Greg Allen King II is no stranger to music. As CEO of Gutta Werk Ent, Greg, better known as “The Gatlin,” has definitely proved that he can make his own way in today’s music industry. Gatlin’s passion for music didn’t rise overnight, however. At age 14, after dabbling with poetry and spoken word events, the Gatlin knew writing music was his ultimate passion in life. By age 19. The Gatlin had officially began his music career and has since spent 10 years writing and collaborating with artists such as Hollow Tip, E 40, C-bo, Lace Leno, Keak da Sneak, Marvaless, B Smoove, Bloe, T Nutty and many more.

Not only has he made music with well-known artists, but he has performed on the same stages with even bigger names, such as Wale, Keak Da Sneak, Celly Cell, Da Brat, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Young Dro and Twista just to name a few. His success didn’t stop with performing and writing. The Gatlin has released 4 Mixtapes, a joint venture with Joezy Wells, 4 Street Albums and plans for his official debut album to drop fall of 2013. The Gatlin is not only respected far and wide in the music industry but also in his hometown, Sacramento, CA, where he is loved just as much if not more.

Having a well-known father in the community and being the eldest of 9 siblings, The Gatlin couldn’t be any less known if he wanted to be. Not only is The gatlin a rapper, writer, businessman, entrepreneur, big brother, and son; he also is the father of two beautiful children. The Gatlin is a very motivated and inspiring person in or out of music. This being one of the reasons for his high successes. Fans love an artist who they can relate to on real life issues.
