Sinister Twin
If you check out own music you can tell we really have an appreciation for conceptual projects over just compiling singles. So having a 3 Part EP was really intriguing to see how he approaches the concept. The son father relationship is very interesting and has not really approached.
Sinister is very clever with his lyricism His delivery is a little outdated but has good rhythm and can ride the beat.
Beat Choice is nice with a live band feel. It sounds like a rock band interpreting a hip hop track
Black Palace is amazing could hear it on the radio The singer has a perfect chorus voice. Reminds me of my favorite hook person Krizz Kaliko
One of the best videos I've seen shot from an indie group Very cinematic could definitely use this in short movie contests.
Years ago, on the same day and at precisely the same time, two boys with the same first name were born into separate families on opposite sides of Ontario, Canada.
Moving through their early lives as strangers, they both began their musical careers playing in metal and hardcore bands. Music was trying to bind them, but for years they would remain unaware of each other’s existence.
At the age of eighteen, and despite moving into adjacent dorm rooms in Kingston, rapper Indie and singer/songwriter Justin André remained unaware of the path that fate had built for them. It wasn’t until several years later that they realised they shared a first name, a birthdate, and a twisted history that had been slowly pulling them together their entire lives.
Driven by a passion for hip hop, and bound by the strange story that brought them together, Justin and Indie embarked on a new musical project exploring dark lyrical content and rich, organic beats.
That project is called Sinister Twin.
