Portion of Jacob.....Not your typical HipHop .
Portion of Jacob (PoJ) is taking a creative angle that bases their musical themes on Biblical principles. However, this controversial hiphop group doesn't consider themselves a Christian hiphop group in the generic sense
Labeled as "Hebrew HipHop", The elders Ach Tsemach and Ach Nasaiah follow the customs of the lost tribes of ancient Israel with cultural sounds and lyrics. Their sound can be likened to hiphop groups such as A Tribe Called Quest and X Clan.
The introduction of their EP “Jacob’s Struggle” is the single “Genesis 1:29”. It features production by DJ Ben Vera and video by Rehab Music.
