Eh Vee is a behind the scenes music magician. He's one of those rare individuals bleeding his artistic heart out for the good of his people. A role model among his peers, Eh Vee is filled with a fiery passion for hip hop and the community that's embraced him. While most hip hop artists long for the stage and bright lights, Eh Vee prefers to be the cranks and pulley's that orchestrate the entire event. He prefers to have his hands on the artists most current and impressive releases. He prefers to fight for his team. Co-Founder of G- City Movement since 2012, Eh Vee also spent those early days managing artist CDiss. Building this working relationship was integral to Eh Vee finding his place in the hip hop world. It allowed him the opportunity to promote another artists talent, while he quietly honed his own writing skills. In 2013 he released his first independent track, which immediately led to an internship at R-Evolution Media Studio. He has since been abducted onto the R-Evolution roster as a recording engineer. This allows him the flexibility to don many hip hop hats. R-Evolution gave him a place to learn, in a practical setting, the business side of the recording world. In 2014 Eh Vee won the MVP award at the R-Evolution Media Awards. An achievement that kicked Eh Vee into high gear. 2015 brought about an opportunity to join the cast of a R-Evolution Radio, with Robbie G. Eh Vee co-hosts the weekly show, recorded at Guelph University. His character on air is easy going and charming. He meshes well with the artists and attacks each interview from the perspective of a genuine hip hop fan. Professional networks can only flourish under these circumstances. In 2015, Eh Vee also released his first project titled, "This Is Just A Mixtape". The production is eclectic, as are the features. The tape is the first stepping stone for Eh Vee to really flex his writers muscle. 2016 will be the launching point for Eh Vee's latest undertaking. Up Top Hip Hop is a new music blog site, geared toward the Canadian Hip Hop Scene. It's a place to expand on his involvement in media and give back to the arts community that has been such an inspiration for Eh Vee.
