Henry Lee Rudolph Jr. aka 1/2-E has grown up across the nation in such places as Oakland, California, Las Vegas, Nevada, and what he calls home, Salt Lake City, Utah. Though his home isn't considered a prolific place for hip-hop or rap artists, playing one of his tracks will show contrary. His music can be uplifting, fun, thought provoking, reflective, and philosophical. He addresses many issues throughout his music including growing up in foster care, living with mental illness, political activism, life a a bi-racial American (1/2-E is half black and half white), the millennial experience, and satire. He works on his music almost entirely independently; including the musics engineering, high concept music video production, publishing, and graphic design.
