J.LATELY | "CLOSER" and Tour schedule
West coast emcee J.Lately is back with his new single, "Closer", produced by fellow Bay Area emcee/producer Fabes. They made the beat in the car during a 12-hour drive between Salt Lake City and Seattle while on Lately's "Let's Just Be Friends Tour" last February. He wrote the song in their Portland hotel room five days later. The song touches on the ups and downs of being an independent artist on the brink of success, and the feeling of being closer than you ever expected to achieving your dreams.
