Ikey was born in NY but actually lived a good portion of his childhood in Nigeria before coming back to live in Maryland. His experiences in both cultures have a big influence in his music. The video features a dark and gritty feel that matches the energy found in the song. The “Timbuktu" track is produced by the Maryland native, Roslin. “Timbuktu” is part of the upcoming project from Ikey called Green Card, dropping in the fall.
